pCANTON — The St. Lawrence County Planning Office is seeking input from the farming community on the creation of an agricultural development plan. /ppThe Planning Office is collecting the data on behalf of the county’s Agricultural Farmland Protection Board./ppThe protection board wants to encourage farmers to complete a survey to identify issues that should be included in the plan. /ppFarmers are also asked to identify potential information gaps and opportunities for continuing education and support in order to help strengthen and diversify the county’s agricultural industry. /ppOnline versions can be accessed at a href="http://wdt.me/WeadBD"http://wdt.me/WeadBD/a or a href="www.stlawco.org"www.stlawco.org/a, and paper copies are available at Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County, the county’s Real Property Office, the county’s Planning Office or at the Soil and Water Conservation District Office.
