Adams woman admits drug sale attempt

pWATERTOWN — An Adams woman faces five years’ probation after admitting Friday in Jefferson County Court that she tried to sell oxycodone./ppAmy S. Guadalupe, 41, of 6 Institute St., Apt. 22, pleaded guilty to third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance. She admitted that she tried to sell the drug within the county July 16./ppIn addition to probation, she is expected to be sentenced May 6 to an unspecified amount of time served at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building./ppIn other court activity:/ppDaniel S. Ruiz, 46, of 368 Franklin St., pleaded guilty to aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child as a passenger. He admitted driving while intoxicated Nov. 2 on Waddingham Road in the town of LeRay with one or more children under the age of 15 in the vehicle. He is expected to be sentenced May 4 to five years’ probation and be fined $1,500. He will also have his driver’s license revoked and be ordered to install an ignition interlock device on any vehicle he owns or operates./ppDavid L. Buszak, 42, whose last known address was 109 N. Hamilton St., Apt. 203, pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He had been charged with hitting Pamela L. Alford on the head with a Mason jar Jan. 25. Sentencing was deferred until May 6./p
