pWATERTOWN — State police charged an Adams Center man with first-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child after he allegedly injured a 5-month-old infant./ppTroopers said Joseph F. Wilcox, 29, was charged Tuesday. They first investigated Mr. Wilcox after the infant was brought to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment./ppState police said they could not offer specific details about the case or the child’s condition, and that their investigation is still open./ppMr. Wilcox was arraigned in Adams Town Court, and his bail at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building was set at $25,000./p
