pBLACK RIVER — A Black River man was charged by the Metro Jefferson Drug Task Force with multiple felony offenses after he allegedly possessed heroin and weapons at his home./ppThe task force said they were called by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies to the home of Ryan W. Lancto, 30, of 120 Stone Drive, Apt. 101, at about 10 a.m. on Friday./ppAt that time, probation officers at the home found heroin, and at that time Mr. Lancto became combative./ppAfter receiving a search warrant from LeRay Town Court, the task force found 27.5 grams of heroin, which they said had a street value of $5,500. Two sets of digital scales and four illegal knives were also found, they said./ppMr. Lancto, was charged at his home with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon, along with second-degree criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction of governmental administration./ppHe was arraigned in Rutland Town Court, and his bail at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building was set at $20,000./ppThe task force said more charges are pending./p
