NORTH LAWRENCE — Four Massena residents were charged by state police on May 5 following a trespassing incident.
Justin E. Bruce, 30, of 2054 Rt. 131, was charged with felony first-degree criminal contempt, misdemeanor third-degree assault and misdemeanor petit larceny.
Stephanie M. Scott, 32, of 2054 Rt. 131, Tapeni J. LaBrake, 36, or 49 Phillips St., and Amy L. Banker, 39, of 49 Phillips St., were each charged with misdemeanor second-degree criminal trespass.
When roopers arrived to 1142 County Rt. 55, Lawrence, at 3:27 a.m. on May 5, a woman was allegedly head-butted by Mr. Bruce, who also allegedly stole her prescribed medications. Ms. Scott, Mr. LaBrake and Ms. Banker entered the home during this time without the woman’s permission, according to troopers.
Mr. Bruce was arraigned in Brasher Town Court and was remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail without bail, due to prior felony convictions.
Ms. Scott, Mr. LaBrake and Ms. Banker were each issued an appearance ticket returnable to local court.
